The Singapore Carbon Market & Investor Forum is Asia-Pacific's premier event bringing together investors, policymakers, project developers, and carbon market leaders to shape the future of carbon markets, unlock climate finance, and accelerate the region's transition to a low-carbon economy.
The Forum is hosted by the Carbon Market Institute, an independent, not-for-profit, member-based organisation accelerating the transition to net zero emissions.
The 2026 event will be presented as a one-day conference at Novotel Singapore on Stevens, concluding with a drinks networking reception.

The 2026 Forum arrives at a pivotal moment for carbon markets in Asia. As compliance markets expand, voluntary markets continue to evolve, and trade measures such as CBAM reshape supply chains across the region, the focus is shifting to implementation, investment and market credibility.
Singapore is central to this transition. The country has signed Implementation Agreements with ten partners under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreements, with MOUs in place with many more, and its carbon tax has reached S$45 per tonne, with a clear trajectory towards S$50-80 by 2030. Corporate commitment grew substantially in 2025, yet capital has not kept pace – creating an urgent need for investor-developer connections and new financial structures.
This is where it converges: the policymakers shaping the rules, the investors deploying capital, the developers building high-integrity projects, and the service providers enabling the ecosystem. The Forum brings these leaders together for a full day of substantive discussion, commercial engagement, and relationship-building — concluding with a drinks networking reception in the heart of APAC’s carbon trading hub.
